Age Groups
We divide our members into age groups according to school years in order for us to cater more efficiently for all our participants. However, Hanoar Hatzioni is known for its intimate family atmosphere and this is largely due to the fact that our camps see all age groups together on one site. Participants from all the groups come together at many points throughout the day to share their experiences and enjoy each others company. We believe this enrichesour participants overall camp experience.
The ages of the groups listed below are subject to the demographic of our participants per event
With our youngest age group we focus on expanding their knowledge on the Jewish people's history and traditions in order to deepen their level of self-identification. We intend to develop chanichim who are sensitive towards their social surroundings, this takes place through encouraging team work and educating on values of cooperation and responsibility. We educate our participants in a way which will create a basic interest in the state of Israel.
Our leaders are well trained in activities designed to encourage the participants to get to know one another, feel comfortable on their surroundings and alleviate fears of being away from home for the first time.
