Discipline

We would like to take this opportunity to inform you of the camp rules.

On Hanoar Hatzioni we have a three tiered warning system. Should your child/ward break a rule they will receive a warning from their group leader. Should a situation occur again they will receive a formal warning from the co-coordinator of their age group and you will receive a phone call. Should they need to be reprimanded for a third time they will be referred to the head of discipline and an office member who if deemed necessary will send your child/ward home. Depending on the severity of the rule that they break they may be referred to the second or third tier immediately. However we are confident that your child/ward will abide by the camp rules which are outlined below:

1. There will be no smoking by participants and any cigarettes found will be destroyed.

2. Alcohol on the campsite is strictly forbidden and any found will be confiscated and disposed of.

3. Willful damage of property (vandalism) is considered a serious breach of conduct and payment will be

charged to the parents/ guardian's concerned.

4. Anti social behaviour which includes bullying and non participation is not tolerated on camp.

5. The use or possession of illegal drugs is strictly forbidden and will be dealt with accordingly; this may

result in the involvement of the police.

6. Due to their anti social nature, mobile phones are banned and will be confiscated till the end of camp if

found. Telephone facilities are available and camp staff are available on emergency contact numbers.

7. Any damage to property due to breaking of rules will incur either repair or replacement charges.

The breaking of any of these rules is considered a serious breach of discipline, and can constitute a sending home offence
