Hanoar Hatzioni have been running Summer Camp's for over 50 years and this year is going to be the best yet.
Experienced madrichim (leaders) run informal educational activities for chanichim (participants) year's 5-12 throughout the day aswell as our famous disco's by DJTJ, onsite activities and our extra fun sports day there is something for everyone.
Who is camp for?
Our Summer Camp is open to all children in school years 3 - 10, during camp we run specific activities for each age group as well as massive camp wide programmes. For more informaton on our age groups and what we offer them take a look at the Hanoar Journey
It is also on Summer Camp that our participants in year 12 finish their leadership training and become leaders of the movement.
What makes our camps special?
Hanoar Hatzioni UK beleieves nobody should miss out on our events for financial reasons, for more information on our subsidy process look at our Logistics and Finance section.
• Age range - all our participants regardless of their age will be on the same campsite, which ensures that participants can benefit from mixing with other children not necessarily from their age group.
• Scouting - we take all our participants rambling so that they can discover the outdoors, and in addition to this we have bonfires and outdoor cookery sessions. The length of time rambling is dependent on age group, Kanaim (Year 10) spend three days rambling sleeping under canvas, something which is truly a fantastic experience.
