Every year Hanoar Israel Tour takes a few days out to stay with host families in the beatiful Galil region of Israel. Hanoar has a strong relationship with the villages and families we stay with and we ensure that our participants are able to continue this strong relationship after tour. It is a real opportunity to make life long friends in Israel.
Dead Sea & Ein Gedi
Hanoar Kibbutzim
After an amazing packed few weeks a little rest is definitely in order. Chilling out on the banks of the dead sea or in the incredible oasis that is Ein Gedi, a well deserved break.
During the pre-state years Hanoar chaverim (members) led the way in pioneering the land of Israel and establishing Kibbutzim. We will re-trace their steps visiting these original kibbutzim and spend a day in the life of a kibbutznik.
Masada
Bedouin hospitallity
Whilst in the desert we will spend a night staying with Bedouin tribes of the Negev. We'll ride camels with them, sleep in their tents and experience true home made cooking. A genuine insight into Israel's most iconic minority.
Arguably the most iconic site in the country and climbing it to see the sunrise is really the best way to experience it. Climbing the same snake path used by the Israelites to reach their mountian fortress.
Hanoar Day
Hanoar Hatzioni is an internationl movment with branches in over 15 countries and for one day of tour they will all come together to chill out on the beach followed by a night long concert and party, South Americans, Latin Americnans, Belgiumg, Brits and Israeli's all partying together.
Rhapsody
Rhapsody is an amazing two day challenge, to build a raft from scratch, sleep on the beach of the Kinneret and in the morning sail the very same raft the 7 miles across Israel's largest lake.
Desert experience
What better way to experince the land of Israel than camping out in the Negev desert. An amazing two day experience, cooking, camping and exploring around this other worldly landscape.
