Gap Year 2007/8 Update

Currently Hanoar Hatzioni has 8 English madrichim (leaders) and 4 Israeli are on their Gap Year in Israel. After spending 4 months in Jerusalem on an educationally enriching programme called Machon, with over 50 participants from the UK, the group moved on to their "Options Period". Half the group volunteered for Magen David Adom (ambulance service), whilst the other half participated in a two-month army experience called Marva.

The group are now making their way up North to teach English in schools are volunteer the community they will live in.
